  At Pascoal Organic Spice Village, we grow and serve variety of spices.
   
  There are absolute NO pesticides but compost materials include sugarcane waste, cow dung, poultry and fish manure. Hence Pascol Organic Spice Village is ORGANIC.
   
  The spices may be the one that are available in the Goan market, but the real point of attraction is the process of cultivating it till reaches the actual market.

Areca Nut (Areca Catechu) Arecanut Spice is grown at Pascoal Spice Village in abundance. It has medicinal value and helps in strengthening the teeth and improving vision. Hence it is used in toothpaste and chewing gum. Proteins from the kernel are used in preparation of beverages.
Fibre or husk is used in the preparation of cardboard. It has its own importance in Indian religious ceremonies.
Uses of Arecanut other than chewing with or without betel leaf (Paan) are negligible & hence it has limited prospects for exports...
